In a bid to promote trade and commerce as well as ensure security of travels in as ND out of Plateau, the State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has officially unveiled a multi-million naira shopping complex and ultra-modern motor park situated along the Bukuru Expressway.
The project which was constructed by the Jos South Local Government Council, aims to enhance orderliness, curb crime, and boost revenue for the local government administration.
Governor Mutfwang, who was speaking at the ceremony held on Wednesday, emphasized the significance of the initiative in fostering a conducive environment for business activities.
He commended the Transition Committee Chairman of Jos South LGA, Peter Vwang Dung, for his commitment to completing the project, which was initiated in 2014 during his tenure as Chairman but remained uncompleted.
While encouraging further collaboration between the government and traders, especially those at the Terminus market, the Governor called for cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a favorable atmosphere for commerce.
In his remark, Peter Vwang Dung, the Transition Committee Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, extended a warm welcome to the Governor and his delegation.
He disclosed that this marks the second project commissioned by Governor Mutfwang in Jos South. He expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support to the Mutfwang administration in the state. Vwang Dung pledged continuous cooperation to make Plateau State a safe and prosperous destination for all.
