Commissions cattle market, re-affirms commitment to key into Gov. Sule’s policy drive.

The Chairman Toto Local Government Council, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, has commissioned the Toto cattle as part of administration’s determination todiversify Council’s economic base.

This, he further said is to boost cattle business, generate revenue and enhance socio-economic activities of the people of the area.

The council boss said that the cattle market will also create job opportunities to the people.

Pharm. Baba Yahaya pledges to provide toiletries and other infrastructures in order to create an enabling environment in the cattle market.

He also disclosed that his administration’s peace and security approach is yielding positive results in the area.

The council boss said that his administration would continue to ensure harmonious co-existence between herders and farmers in the area.

Pharm. Baba Yahaya called on all and Sundry to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.

It would be reported that the event had in attendance, Alh Yusuf Usman Danjuma, a representative of Hon Commissioner for Trade, Inddustry and Investment, Hon Dr. Abdullahi Musa who represented the Commissioner for Agriculture where they commended the chairman for his peace and developmental strides in the area.

They also appreciated the council boss for his commitment in promoting peaceful coexistence in the area in line with Gov. Abdullahi Sule administration’s policy drive.

On his part, HRH the Ohinoyi Ogye Alh. Umar Azaki has appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the Chairman, Toto Local Government Council for their efforts in promoting peace and development in the area.

He called on marketers to ensure proper utilization of the market for the overall development of the area.

It would also be reported that other dignatries at the occasion were representative from the secretary to the State Government, that of Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada and Hon. Gaza Gbefi among others.

Highlights of the occasion were cultural display and a mini launching in support of the market opening.

In another development, the Chairman, Toto Local Government Council has appealed for synergy with principals and schools proprietors in creating an enabling environment for NYSC members posted to the area to enable them perform their primary assessments diligently.

The chairman made the call through his Deputy, Hon. Atnadu Sunday Yakubu.

He said that the local government area has over a decade now not having NYSC Members posted to the area over security situation.

He appealed to their hosts to create a conducive atmosphere for the NYSC members posted to them.
