Today marks a significant moment in the history of the Nigeria Union of Journalists as we bid farewell to a remarkable leader and servant, Chief Shuaibu Usman Leman, our esteemed National Secretary.
For over two decades, he remained the bedrock of our union, leaving an indelible mark of excellence and progress.
His tour of service, has been defined by dedication and tangible achievements that have shaped the course of our union.
His visionary leadership has guided us through challenges and triumphs, always with the interests of journalists at heart. Under his stewardship, our union has grown stronger and more resilient, advocating tirelessly for the rights and welfare of journalists across the nation.
Beyond his role as National Secretary, Leman has embodied the spirit of service and selflessness. His passion for journalism and commitment to our union have inspired us all. He leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
As we embark on a new chapter with a new National Secretary, Mr. Achike Chude, let us not forget the invaluable contributions of Chief Shuaibu Usman Leman. His wisdom and guidance will continue to guide us as he assumes the role of the Union’s National Consultant, ensuring that his wealth of experience remains within our ranks.
