The Legislative Arm of Qua’an Pan Local Government Council has passed the Sum of Nine Billion, Two Hundred and sixty one million, six hundred and five thousand, five thousand and fifty-eight Naira, nine kobo as the Council’s 2025 appropriation bill into Law .
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Adviser On Media and Publicity, Cletus Danaan, said the Chairman of Qua’an Pan Local Government had in early January, presented the proposed budget to the Legislature for the 2025 fiscal year.
During the plenary, the Vice Chairman Finance and appropriation Committee, Kingsley Tsenlong presented the Committee’s report to the House noted that the figures were carefully scrutinized before it was passed.
After exhaustive deliberations, the house later passed the 2025 budget into law.
In her remarks, Leader of Quaan Pan Local Government Council Legislative Council, Kenaan Luka expressed optimistism that the 2025 appropriation bill would stimulate economic growth which will facilitate the execution of new projects and programmes critical to the development of the locality.
She commended the Chairman of Qua’an Pan Local Government Council Christopher Audu Manship for his leadership style noting that collaboration between the two Arms of government was imperative for the progress and development of the area.
The House Leader equally appreciated Clerk and the Budget, Planning Research and Statistics Department as well as the entire staff of the Council Legislative Arm for their usual commitment and hardwork and appealed to citizens to support the Manship-led administration to deliver on its mandate.
She praised the Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation and other lawmakers for a job well done and mandated Clerk of the House to prepare a clean copy of the bill to be transmitted to the Chairman for his assent. (www.krestnews.com).
