The Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture and driving infrastructural development across the nation.

The commendation came during a sympathy visit to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State in Minna on Monday.

Speaking on behalf of the Forum, its Chairman and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, praised the President for his commitment to improving governance, national security, and human capacity development.

“We want to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fortifying the nation’s security structure, investing in infrastructure renewal, and building human capital,” Uzodimma said.
“At the sub-national level, we will continue to align with these ideals to deliver the dividends of democracy to our people.”

The delegation was in Minna to commiserate with Governor Bago over recent tragedies in Niger State, including a tanker explosion that claimed several lives.

In his response, Governor Bago appreciated the solidarity visit from his colleagues and lauded President Tinubu for his swift interventions and consistent support to the state in times of need.

Governors in attendance included those of Lagos, Osun, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Delta, and Kogi States, while Jigawa, Sokoto, and Kebbi States were represented by their Deputy Governors. Read more reports on www.krestnews.com
