The qSpeaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, has urged FOMWAN and other people to pray and support President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed.
He also urged the women and other people to pray for God’s intervention to overcome the challenges facing the country.
The Speaker made the call during Tafsir organized by Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Nasarawa State chapter today in Lafia.
He said that every leader need the prayers and support of his people to succeed, hence the need of his call in that direction.
” Lets all pray for the success of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. A A Sule and other leaders
” Let us also pray for our state and Nigeria at large as Nigeria needs prayers,” he said.
Speaker Jatau also urged the women and other people of the state to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations for development to continue to thrive in the state.
” We are all one in the eye of God, Let’s continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of our ethnic, religious and other affiliations
” As no nation or society will achieve meaningful progress and development without peace,” he said
The Speaker called on them and other women to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.
” We are happy with what His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule is doing in the state towards bringing unity, peace and development to communities across the state.
He also urged the women to be patient and support their husbands to succeed and for the progress and development of their families.
The Speaker further urged them to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace irrespective of their affiliations.
Earlier, Hajiya Hashiya Ahmed, FOMWAN Amiral, Nasarawa State Chapter appreciated the Speaker for finding time despite his tight schedule to attend the Tafsir.
She also appreciated the Speaker for coming to the aid of the women to break their fast and support for the building of the association’s Secretariat.
The FOMWAN Chairpeson also urged the women to live in unity and peace with one another irrespective of their differences.
In her vote of thanks, Dr Zainab Ahmed, National Assistant Secretary, FOMWAN, who is also the former SSG of Nasarawa State thanked the Speaker for always identifying with activities that geared toward promoting unity and peace in the state and the country at large.
It would be reported that, the Tafsir had in attendance, Haj. Maryam Misa Ahmed, wife to the State Accountant General, Hajiya Maryam Isa Mustapha, Wife to Late Emir of Lafia and Hajiya Rabi Ahmed Ubangari Alaku, Wife to Aren Eggon among others.
