Top police command zone 15, today May 21, gathered for a one day conference in Maiduguri, Borno state capital.
In attendance during the one day conference was the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the zone,AIG Abdu Umar along side police Commissioners and other zonal officers.
Speaking, AIG Umar said the meeting is essential aimed at appraising the duties of the police in a time like this, and enjoined them to ensure discipline and adherence to ethical standards in the discharge of the duties.
He used the forum to also charge senior officers and men in the zone to not only inculcate good moral values through holding daily lectures but should all forms of corrupt practices, extortion as well as violation of social media policy governing the duties of police men.
The AIG also used the conference to bring officers in the command to speed with changes at the police national headquarters, Abuja.
