The Plateau State Police Command has announced the successful recovery of a vehicle reportedly stolen from its owner.
The police in a statement to the media by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo, shows that the vehicle, recovered, a Toyota Hiace Bus, was reported stolen some three days back, precisely on the 16th September 2024.
It says the vehicle was recovered from one Kabiru Mohammed of Sabon Gari Narabi Toro LGA of Bauchi yesterday, Thursday 18, September at 0045 hours.
According to the police command spokesman in the statement, the suspect is in their custody and is providing other useful information that could lead to more recoveries.

He said that at the end of their investigation, the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
It further reassured the Plateau state people of the avowed commitment of the Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina to fight crime and criminality to ensure the safety of lives and properties within the state.
He warned in the statement that the police under his watch will not condone any act of lawless that could breach the current fragile peace on the plateau.
He used the medium to appeal to the general public to assist the police by providing useful information on crime abd criminals to enable the police serve the state better.
