In a bid to find last solution and peace in the current security challenge that has befallen Plateau State in recent time, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Hassan Yabanet, has solicited mutual working collaboration between the Army and the police on the Plateau.
Krestnews reports that the state top cop was speaking during a courtesy visit on the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3rd Armoured Division, Major General Abdusalam Abubakar at the Maxwell Khobe cantonment in Jos.

He explained that the visit was aimed at maintaining the synergy and good working relationship that exists between the Police and the Military.
CP Hassan expressed the Command’s gratitude to the GOC, for the cooperation and help rendered to the Police on the Plateau, especially during the just concluded re-run elections.
He also promised the GOC that the Plateau State Police Command will continue to ensure the relationship is maintained.

The GOC Abdusalam Abubakar while speaking, appreciated him for visiting and assured the CP of his readiness to partner with the police in the fight against crime and criminality to ensure peace and harmony is restored in Plateau State.
The security Chiefs agreed on strategies for ensuring that peace is restored back to Plateau State.
