Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has areassured visitors from Nigeria and around the world that the state is a safe haven for religious activities and business ventures.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Gyang Bere and sited by Krestnews posted on the Middle Belt Voice platform, Monday, May 13.
Governor Mutfwang stated this during a Special combined/Interdenominational church service at the Redeemed Camp in Barkin-Ladi Local Government Area, emphasizing the state’s peaceful atmosphere.
He expressed gratitude for Pastor Adeboye’s visit, stating that it has brought blessings that will positively impact the state’s future.
Describing the visit as symbolic, Governor Caleb Mutfwang declared an end to past unpleasant narratives about the state, affirming its safety for all.
He assured visitors of a warm reception and pledged to protect Plateau’s heritage for the benefit of all.
In his sermon titled “Promoted for a Purpose,” Pastor Adeboye highlighted God’s role in promotion and prayed for progress and revival in Plateau State.
Former Governors Jonah David Jang and Joshua Dariye, alongside government officials and clergy, joined in the worship service.
