The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service has assured of it’s commitment to support Stand Up for Women Society in addressing challenges affecting the poor and vulnerable in the society.
The Chairman of the Revenue Service Mr Jim Pam Wayas, gave to this assurance while the Executive officers of the women group paid him an advocacy visit in his office in Jos .
The chairman said he was overwhelmed with the calibre of women involved in the SWS and what the organization has done so far on the Plateau.

He commended the strides of the group and particularly the doggedness of the chairperson, Liberator Grace Gora who he highly praised.
“What i sees is unity and a selfless group of women and I’m very impressed, i and the revenue service will collaborate with SWS because i believe in it’s cause”

He however enjoined the Plateau chapter to sustain the good work they doing which is not self seeking but the cause of the vulnerable in the society.

The State chairperson of SWS, Grace Gora, briefed him on what SWS is all about, and the activities that were carried out previously in the state.
Gora also used the opportunity to seek for collaboration and partnership from the organization to enable her group set objective.
Also speaking, the Vice President, North Central, SWS, Ladi Emmanuel, who spoke on behalf of the National President, pleaded with the chairman to work with SWS to also enable the women touch the lives of the down trodden at the grassroot in Plateau State.
