The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has joined the Muslim community in celebrating the Eid-el-Kabir, urging fervent prayers for a peaceful and united nation.
In a message, Governor Mutfwang congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the significant milestone, emphasizing the virtues of love, peace, charity, tolerance, and commitment to peaceful co-existence.
He highlighted the significance of the celebration, noting that it provides an opportunity to invoke God’s blessings on Nigerian leaders and reiterated his administration’s commitment to guiding, guarding, and protecting all citizens.
Governor Mutfwang also urged citizens to abide by the law and respect government policies aimed at restructuring the state for a conducive business atmosphere.
In a related development, the Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, Ado Yusuf Danboyi on behalf of citizens of Kanam extended felicitations to all and sundry.
He said Eid El Kabir comes with great lessons of sacrifice,love and togetherness as such we all must build these virtues across divides to build a society that we all cherish.
Danboyi admonished the Muslim Ummah in Kanam, Plateau State and Nigeria at large to offer a strong hand of friendship to one another showing the footsteps that the Holy Prophet Muhammad left for all to follow.
“As we celebrate Eid El Kabir,it is our firm believer that more of the dividends of democracy and brotherliness will continue to abide”
“Let us continue to pray for our leadership to have the direction of the Almighty Allah in all doings”.
