According to him, ” contrary to the expectations of pundits, the party by its resolution has shown maturity and adherence to the rules of democracy by soundly viewing the state of the nation and the party to come out with a far reaching resolution”.

The Former Governorship aspirant who is a leading front runner for the national chairmanship position of the party, insisted that with the party’s NEC resolution , it is obvious that the needed cohesion has been infused into the party for a better future.

He said that PDP has shown example that it is a party that believes in the basic principles of democracy and has reassured Nigerians of the better future ahead.

He however appealed to the party hierarchy to consider the possibility of zoning the National Chairmanship of the party to the North Central, adding that, “by all fair and just purposes other states in the north central should allow Niger; the only state that has not produced National Chairman from the zone to take the slot”.
