Nigerian teenage sensation, Richard Ajayi, has taken a major step in his football journey, earning an invitation to train with the Bayern Munich first team — a remarkable breakthrough for the 15-year-old who turns 16 in December.

The left-footed prodigy, known for his versatility across the left-back, left-wing, and central midfield positions, has impressed the Bundesliga giants with his technical ability, composure, and maturity beyond his age.

Ajayi, a product of Stars-To-Be Football Club, an amateur side based in Badagry, Lagos, joined the German champions three years ago. Since then, his rapid development has drawn comparisons to Nigerian football legend David Alabi, with many pundits tipping him for stardom.

Speaking on his promotion, Ajayi expressed gratitude and determination to make the most of the opportunity.

“This is just the beginning. The real work starts now, and I’m ready to live up to the expectations of my coaches and teammates,” he said.

As he begins this new chapter with one of Europe’s biggest clubs, all eyes will be on the young Nigerian as he continues to chase his dreams on the grand stage. For more sports stories and updates, visit www.krestnews.com.
