Niger State Government is to spend N10 billion on remodelling the General Hospital and School of Health Technology in Tungan Magajiya, Rijau Local Government Area of the state

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago stated this when he visited the two facilities in Rijau, in continuation of his Statewide projects monitoring tour.

He said, ” both structure, when remodelled, would also be equipped with State-of-the-Art facilities for improved and effective service delivery”.

The farmer Governor observed how historic both facilities are, promising to continue to provide support to them.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago was also at the Palace of the Sarkin Bauchin Rijau, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Kuki where he addressed the community members, and informed them that the State Government will re-open the Vocational School and the financial institution in Rijau.

According to him, “Farmer the ongoing Kontagora-Rijau road construction will be extended to Zuru. I want to and assure the people of Rijau that the 5 km township road project will be completed”.

The Sarkin Bauchin Rijau, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Kuki, the Member representing Rijau/Magama Federal Constituency, Shehu Sale and the Chairman Rijau Local Government Council, Danladi Kwambo in their separate remarks described the Farmer Governor as a leader who means well for his people.

The title of Jarman Rijau was bestowed on the farmer Governor by the Sarkin Bauchin Rijau for his love and affection for the people of Rijau.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago had earlier inspected the ongoing Rijau-Kontagora road project and the proposed 6 span bridge at Luoji expressing satisfaction with the quality of work carried out so far.
