Nasarawa State Government has express interest in developing a template that would foster the training of it’s citizens to adopt various business strategies through collaboration with Interweave Solution International USA curriculum.
Governor Abdullahi A. Sule gave the hint when he played host to Interweave Solution International USA Director Colin Binks Reid who led his team on courtesy visit Thursday 14th November, 2024 in Lafia the State capital.
Interweave Solution is all about moving people from poverty to prosperity through neighbourhood self-reliance groups.
” We must develop a template to work with you. You can go to our institutions where we will help you to provide the platform as we don’t mind investing in it.
” We have a similar programme though not as extensive as yours that is spread around the world. But the happiness we have in Nasarawa State is that; we don’t go round but, we have people around the country that are now coming to those sites to developed people who had given up hope by giving them hope back ” The Governor explained.
Engineer Sule stressed that there is room to work together with Interweave Solution International which is predicated on empowering neighborhood groups to become self-reliant.
He commended the team from Interweave Solution International for their indiscriminate disposition as the go from community to community helping people move from poverty to prosperity.
Earlier, the Director of Interweave Solution International USA Colin Binks Reid said the organization has a comprehensive and integrated curriculum through their Masters in Business on the Street programme.
He explained that Interweave Solution International after training community groups on different business strategies, provides a refundable support through a cooperative initiative that funds their individual chosen businesses.
Mr. Colin equally pointed out that his organization trains and awards certificates to those they mentor who are called Success Ambassadors who’s work is to create a self-reliance business training programme and help others become independent as well over time.
