Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has attributed the victory Honourable Muhammed Adamu Omadefu and Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim at the just concluded re-run elections in Nasarawa State to their popularity and acceptability in their constituencies.
Speaker Jatau made this declaration while reacting to the news of their victory and called on those that lost out to join hands with the lawmakers to achieve the development of their constituencies and the State at large.
Krestnews reports that the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen used the medium congratulated Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu of APC Keana Constituency and Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim of NNPP Doma South Constituency for their victories at the re-run elections.
Speaker Jatau commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a hitch free exercise and the security agencies for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere through out the exercise.
Speaker Jatau also commended the electorate for having faith in the lawmakers and re-elected them during the re-run elections while emphasizing that with the completion of the exercise, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is now complete and set to carry out its responsibilities.
The Nasarawa State Number One Lawmaker re-affirmed the 7th Assembly’s commitment under his watch to leave no stone unturned to deliver on their mandate as well as enhance effective synergy with other arms of government for accelerated development of the State.
