Krestnews reports that the member Representing Wamba Constituency at the State House of Assembly, visited areas affected by rain where schools, residential quarters of staff and students hostels as well as some worship centres were badly damaged..
During the visit, Hon Emmanuel Ezekiel Manding who is also the made personal cash donations to those affected to help cushion the effect of the devasted rainstorm which occured on 16th March, 2024
According to reports, the Hon. Member who was touched by the tragic incident that left the principal,some staff and students of Government Girls College Wamba homeless and made a personal donation of one million naira to the college principal to support her rehabilitation process especially her house a common dation which was badly affected.
In other places visited, the Hon. Member also extended personal donation of Five Hundred thousand Naira each to those affected and they are the Seventh Day Adventist Church Wamba and Government Science secondary School Wamba respectively whose facilities were equally damaged by the storm.
Hon. Manding in a statement by his media team assured those affected of his commitment that their issue receives desire attention from the State Government as he promised to table their issues before the Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule for his intervention.
In their separate reactions, the principal of Government Girls College Wamba Mrs Angelina A Kigbu and Elder Moses Jugbo of the Seventh Day Adventist Church Wamba thanked Hon. Manding for his kind gesture, pray that God almighty will continue to guide and increase him in all area of life.
