***Assembly Speaker calls for absolute loyalty to party

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State , has urged stakeholders and other members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to forget the past and forgive each other in order to move the party forward in the State.

This, he said, was to enable the party win elections in the State in future.

Gov. Sule made the call while addressing critical stakeholders meeting held in Government House Lafia today.

The Governor also urged party members to be patient in terms of political appointments while assuring those who are yet to get political appointments of better days ahead.

Sule used the medium to highlight some of his achievements in the area of education, health, Infrastructure, payment of gratuity and pensions among others.

He said that his administration has done well and still doing well while promising to continue to key into good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state as well as improve on the financial status of the State.

Also Speaking, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly commended the party leadership for organizing the meeting calling for absolute loyalty to the party from members.

” We are here to discuss and improve on our party demands and challenges as APC is the leading political party not just in Nigeria but in Africa,” he said.

The Speaker advocated for discipline in the party for the growth of the party and for the overall development of the state.

” There must be discipline in the party for the progress of our great party, APC,” he said.

Jatau urged stakeholders and other people to talk more of Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s achievements in their various communities in order to woo more people into the party.

The Speaker used the moment to pay glowing tribute on Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides across the State.

He assured of the 7th Assembly commitment under his leadership to give the Governor maximum support to succeed.

” We will always be there for you for the progress and development of the state,” the Speaker said.

Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, National Legal Adviser of APC appreciated the stakeholders for their support during and after the election.

He urged the stakeholders to continue to remain united in order to win future elections in the state and the country at large.

The Legal Adviser said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule is one of the best Governors the State has produced so far.

Besides, he appreciated Gov. Sule for nominating him as member of the National Working Committee of APC.

Always speaking during the meeting, Sen. Tanko Al-Makura, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, Hon Abubakar Hassan Mararaba, Member representing Doma/ Keana/ Awe Federal constituecy, Hon Mary Enwongulu, Dr Zainab Ahmed, all commended Gov.. Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides across the state.

They called on the stakeholders and members of the party to sincerely work together for the growth of the party in the state.

They further called on members and other people of the state to continue to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed.

They also urged party members to shun rumour mongering and fake news in order to take the party to the greater height.

Earlier, the State APC chairman, Hon Aliyu Bello said that the meeting was aimed at discussing issues that would move the party forward.

” I want to thank you all for your valuable and immeasurable support which has taken the party under my leadership thus far, in our determined efforts to ensure that APC remain the leading political party in Nassarawa State.

” Our commitment towards making the party united and formidable remains unshakable,” he said.

The APC Chairman also appreciated Gov. Sule for his efforts in taking the state to the next level of development.

Bello appealed to all stakeholders to put behind all disagreements, grievances and conflicts that took place during the 2023 general election.
