The leadership of the Kilema Youth Development Association, Lafia (KIYDAL), has directed the endorsement committee for its forthcoming two-year anniversary to commence wide-ranging consultations with key stakeholders in Lafia and across Nasarawa State. The event is scheduled to hold on January 17, 2026.

This directive was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the association, Usman Abubakar Zanwa, and made available to journalists in Lafia.

According to the chairman, the committee will work collectively to ensure that all stakeholders within the Kilema community and the broader Lafia area are fully informed and involved in preparations for the landmark celebration.

Abubakar reaffirmed that arrangements for the anniversary have been largely concluded, calling on community leaders, youth groups, and supporters across the state to endorse and actively support the event.

He also encouraged members of the association to remain committed and continue contributing their efforts to ensure a successful outing on the appointed date.

The statement commended the resilience of the Kilema community and lauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for initiating people-centered projects in the area.
