The hyena which escaped from the Jos wild life park has been recaptured.
The management of the park said the animal which escaped from the park few days ago was found, tranquilized, captured and safely returned to it’s enclosure.
In a message signed by the General Manager of the Plateau State Tourism Corporation, Chuwang Pwajok, in Jos, did not mention how and when the animal escaped or where it was found.
The management appreciates the general public for remaining calm and cooperative.
This according to the management, it has greatly assisted in the search and rescue of the animal.
Many residents have been apprehensive since the news of the escape of the Hyena went public on Monday.
It is not the first time that animals have escaped from the park.
In 2015 a lion had escaped, while the most recent was in July 2018 when another lion escaped from his cage
