The Executive Secretary of Plateau State Muslim pilgrims welfare Board, Daiyabu Dauda said he has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the welfare of 2024 intending pilgrims from the State.

In a statement signed by the Information officer of the Board, Yusuf Abdullahi Wase, said the memorandum is part of preparation for a befitting accommodation for smooth 2024 Hajj operations.

The statement explained that the executive secretary had engaged service providers in a clear discussion before signing the contract to avoid any failure that may undermine the preparedness of the Board for a hitch free Hajj Operations in line with the Directives of Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s administration.

Dauda maintained that the time has come in “The time is now mantra of the State Government.

He stressed that the Board also made thorough investigation of close location to the holy mosque, and adequate maintenance of the accommodation before signing the contract which was considered as one of the best for the 2024 Hajj.

While signing the contract, Muhammad Ali Al Barnawi, on behalf of the Accomodation providers assured the government of Plateau State of keeping to the terms of agreement.

He adding that they will do everything humanly possible to providing the best services to Plateau State 2024 pilgrims.

The Board Chairman Danladi Kwari and the Director of finance and supply were part of the entourage of the Executive Secretary to ensure all contracts signed, sealed and delivered.

It is expected that Plateau Pilgrims receives adequate attention as directed by the executive Governor of Plateau State Caleb Mutfwang.
