Nasarawa state Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has expressed deep sadness over the sudden death of the Programme Manager, Nasarawa Agricultural Development Programme, NADP Mr. Emmanuel Alanana and the Director, Extension Services, Dr. Rabiu Abdul.
Governor Sule in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Addra described the death of the three as “painful and a big loss to the state”.
The Governor who visited the residence of the late Programme Manager Monday, recalled his recent assignment with the late Alanana in India and said, “Alanana participated in all our meetings and engagements, providing expertise and valuable inputs in the discussions”.
He adds that the late Alanana was a competent, dedicated officer and key figure in the administration’s latest efforts to boost agriculture in the state especially in the farms in Jangwa.
“Late Dr. Rabiu Abdul was equally a committed officer who had contributed immensely to the growth of agricultural practices in our state”.
Engr. Sule also visited the family of late Rev. Dr. Samson Kyuni Chuga, the state Vice Chairman of CAN in Akwanga to pay his respect on passage of the clergy whom he describes as a “lover of peace who worked towards peace at all times”.
Engr. Sule extended condolences to the immediate families of the deceased, their friends, associates and communities, praying God to rest their gentle souls in peace.
