Mr Christopher Audu Manship, Chairman Qua’an Pan Local Government Council of Plateau State has described Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration’s mantra “Time is Now” as veritable key which has propelled success at the grassroots level
Manship made this statement while speaking at the Nigeria Grassroots Leadership Forum organized by Scroll International.held at Merit House, Abuja
The Chairman was honoured at the occasion with an Award of Excellence in Grassroots Leadership Governance by Scroll International due to the Chairman’s outstanding performance and contributions to grassroots development among Local Government Chairmen in Nigeria.
Hon Manship noted that Governor Mutfwang ability to work in synergy with Local Governments and yet without interfering in their administrative and financial affairs is the secret of the much attested successes.
This collaboration according to Manship was one of the reasons for the overwhelming victory of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP during that last week Wednesday’s Local Government elections.
He dedicated the Award to Governor Mutfwang and the people of Qua’an Pan Local Government for their massive support.
As he assume office as the duly elected Chairman of the Council, Manship assured the people of Qua’an Pan of more development.
Convener of the Leadership Grassroots Merit Award, Adenuga Boluwatifa, noted that Scroll International is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, promoting stability and enhancing Local Government Grassroots Leadership Governance.
Notable attendees included Deputy of Quaan Pan, Chrysantus Kangshal, present and former PDP Chairman of Qua’an Pan, Lawan Bari and Raymond Dawam, Directors, staff, Youths, and women from Qua’an Pan as well as National Assembly members.
