The Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the death of his older brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.

In a condolence message by the Director Press and Public Affairs, the Governor Mutfwang described the loss of Engr. Sunday Makinde as a profound tragedy, not only for the Makinde family but for the entire Oyo State.

The Governor highlighted Engr. Sunday Makinde’s exemplary leadership in the engineering profession and commended his steadfast support for his younger brother in advancing the dividends of democracy to the people of Oyo State.

He noted that his life of service, dedication, and commitment was a shining example of selflessness and patriotism.

Governor Mutfwang eulogized the late Engr. Makinde as a man of integrity, compassion, and humility, whose acts of kindness, generosity, and empathy left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, I extended my deepest sympathies to Governor Seyi Makinde, the widow, children, and the entire Makinde family,” the statement reads.

Governor Mutfwang prayed for divine comfort, strength, and fortitude for the family to enable them go through this difficult time.
