Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad says his administration will continue to improve humanitarian aid through collaboration with stakeholders within and outside Nigeria.
He expressed satisfaction with the humanitarian services being tendered by Albasar Foundation, the founders of Makkah Eye Clinic operating in the state capital.
Muhammàd while granting audience to a delegation from the foundation on courtesy visit at Bauchi Government House, acknowledged that such humanitarian services impacted positively on the well-being of people especially less privileged across the state.
The governor seized the opportunity to announce the approval of parcel of land for the Foundation to construct their permanent site to expand it’s operations
Governor Bala Mohammad equally acknowledged the substantial contribution of the teams in delivering relief supplies to thousands of patients within and outside Bauchi state, reiterating his administration’s keenness to partnering with them to ensure the success of their exercises.
He however noted his awareness of the foundations’ philanthropic endeavours, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation to ensure patients receive proper care.
Earlier, leader of the delegation Dr. Abdullahi Badamasi who is the Hospital Manager of Makkah Eye Clinic Bauchi announced that four hundred people across the state have been selected to benefit from free eye operation as part of their corporate social responsibilities
Dr. Badamasi applauded governor Muhammàd exemplary leadership and support, pledging to continue to partner with the State Government for the success of the exercise which will provide free eye service over four hundred patients.
