Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, has praised the General Manager of Benue Links, Comrade Alexander Fanafa, for his exceptional leadership qualities and commitment to good governance.

Gov. Alia, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Paul Biam, at a thanksgiving service held in honor of Comrade Fanafa at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Tordonga Katsina-Ala LGC, described the Benue Links GM as “an enviable breed, focused and determined on enthroning accountability, probity, and good governance in the state.”

The governor noted that Comrade Fanafa has demonstrated remarkable tenacity, doggedness, and commitment to the development of Benue State, even in the face of threats and intimidation from past political office holders. “Fanafa is a role model for the younger generation, who see him as a man of courage and conviction,” Gov. Alia said.

He urged other appointees in the state to emulate Comrade Fanafa’s virtues, which have endeared him to the people of Benue State. “We need more people like Fanafa, who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our people,” Gov. Alia added.

In his response, Comrade Fanafa thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve in his administration and promised to do his best to justify the confidence reposed in him. He also thanked Gov. Alia for revamping Benue Links to serve the state better.

The thanksgiving mass was attended by top government officials, including Hon. Solomon Wombo, Federal House of Representatives Member of Logo, Katsina-Ala, and Ukum constituency; State Coordinator Benue RAAMP, Hon. Stephen Numbeve; DG of BEQA and BCID, Hon. Terna Francis; and Leo-Angelo Usha Viashima, among others.
