The National Productivity Centre is seeking a working collaboration between it and the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to enhance productivity and potentials among women in the State.
The Nasarawa State Coordinator of the Centre, Mrs Mojisola Imosun stated this when she led other staff of the centre on a courtesy visit to Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, Member representing Nasarawa Central constituency today in Lafia.
She said that the centre was established in order to inculcate and stimulate productivity consciousness in the citizens.
“The main purpose of this visit is to familiarize ourselves with you, tell you what we do in National Productivity Centre and to seek for your collaboration to enhance the productivity of women in the state..
” We are also here to share our opinion together, see areas that we can collaborate, come in with our productivity knowledge to enhance productivity of women in the state
” Having seen most of your activities on women and others, we feel that there is the need to collaborate with you in the area of promoting productivity of women, she said.
The state coordinator said that Nasarawa State women are agile and very productive.
Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, member representing Nassarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly while speaking appreciated Imosun and her team for the visit and assured them of her readiness to collaborate with them to promote productivity of women in the state .
Ibrahim, who is Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs also speaking assured of her readiness to collaborate with the centre to boost women understanding of issues around productivity in the state.
” I want to assure you that I will collaborate with you to enhance the productivity of women in the state. Frankling speaking the State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule has empowered the women of the state positively.
” I have also empowered the women in my Constituency. positively. My door is open for you at any time so that collectively we can enhance the productivity of women in the state,” she said
