● Bestowed with Award of most outstanding politician.
The Immediate Past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has acknowledged the outstanding performance of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo within one year in office and urged him to sustain the spirit.
He also hailed the Governor for the attention he is giving to youths development in the State among other developmental initiatives.
Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who is the current Chairman, Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State was speaking when he received in audiences at his Lafia residence today, the Chairman, Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale.
Balarabe Abdullahi hailed the performance of the Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo within the last one year saying that he has done greatly and advised him to sustain the tempo.
“Let me be very frank to you and quote me any where, Kogi Governor started on a good note, he is doing very well for his people so far and if he sustain it, believe me his second term will be easy for him, I salute his efforts so far” he said.
He commended the Governor for carrying the youths along in the scheme of things and urged the youths and other people of the State give the Governor maximum support to succeed.
Balarabe Abdullahi advised youths across the country to be agents of peace, unity and development at all times.
Earlier, the Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale said he visited the former Speaker to identify and associate with him as well as pray and wish him well in all his endeavors.
“Sir, I am here to know you as a person, as a youth advocate and media practitioner I have been following your activities for the past Eight years and have been logging to meet you one on one, to God be the glory today I had that privileged.
” You are a tested and a trusted leader, you have played a great role in your LG and Nasarawa State as a whole and the future is brighter for you and we wish you well”

The Kogi State Youths Council Chairman showed the former Speaker car donation by their Governor to the youths just as he was presented with the” Most Outstanding Politician Award ” by Global Times Nigeria.(www.krestnews.com).
