Nasarawa state Chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has declared that the exit of the former minister of environment, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullah I will not have negative impact on the party
He said the winning team have no regret having him exited ‘from the party because it cannot be a threat.
Reacting to the resignation of the former environment minister from APC in a statement by the state publicity secretary, High Chief Otaru Douglas in Lafia Wednesday, said the party was overwhelmed with joy and relieve that the former minister has exited APC with his overbearing Anticidence.
“Since the news of the resignation of the former Minister of Environment from our great party APC, we have been inundated with calls from The media on the position of the party with regards to what they termed a worst hit on our party.
“Contrary to the views out there, it is compelling therefore to state that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State welcomes the resignation of Barr Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, former Minister of Environment, from the party. We are not surprised by this development, as his actions and behavior had long indicated his disloyalty to the party.
“Barr Abdullahi’s exit is a celebration for our great party, as he had become a liability rather than an asset. His consistent hobnobbing with opposition members and opposition to Governor Abdullahi A Sule’s administration for personal reasons demonstrates his lack of infidelity to the party’s ideals.
“While we wish him well in his future endeavors, we caution any party that might consider welcoming him to beware of the potential political disaster that may follow. His ingratitude and fair-weather approach to politics, staying only when it pleases him and assuming the role of a mole otherwise, make him an untrustworthy politician.
“The Hausa maxim which posits thus: “Better to stay with a thief than a hypocrite” aptly describes Barr Abdullahi’s actions. We are relieved to be rid of him and wish him farewell.
“The APC remains strong and united, and his departure will not affect our party’s momentum, the statement declared.(www.krestnews.com).
