Despite the President’s National broadcast on Sunday, the protesters reconvened at the old airport roundabout in Jos, Plateau State, where they offered prayers for the revival of the country.

The protest was peaceful, with demonstrators carrying placards and chanting slogans calling for change.

Krestnews recalled that hundreds of Plateau Citizens, especially youths, occupied the old Airport Junction roundabout Jos on Thursday to protest against bad governance and the high cost of living.

The protesters demanded that the president address the rising inflation, food insecurity, and other socio-economic challenges facing the nation.

However an Apostle of Garden of Claims Ministry, Joshua Habila Jos, who was the guest preacher at the protest, emphasized that bad leaders should give Nigeria a chance to grow.

He urged the government to listen to the cries of the people and take concrete steps to address their grievances.

The president’s address on Sunday was an attempt to calm the nerves of Nigerians.

The situation in Nigeria is dire, with millions of people struggling to make ends meet.
