Old Students of Government College Pankshin, Plateau State on Saturday under the auspices of Pankshin Old Boy’s’ Association held her annual reunion convention for the year 2024
The occasion which took place on Saturday at the College premises in Pankshin attracted a large turn out old Students as welm as those still schooling as well top government functionaries from Nasarawa and Plateau States.
Krestnews.com reports that the occasion was not only colourful but witnessed the formal installation of His Royal Highness Alh Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, PhD, CON, who is himself is an Old Boy, as the Grand Patron of the Pankshin Old Boy’s Association (POBA).
The colourful event, which took place on 30th November, 2024 was well attended by a galaxy of dignitaries, including Keffi stalwarts under the leadership of Prince Abdullahi Attajiri, Baraden Keffi. Nasarawa state Government functionaries led by the Executive Governor, ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government Barr. Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma, Nasarawa state traditional rulers, Plateau State Governor ably represented by Hon Ibrahim Musa Ashona, Commissioner For Information Plateau State, POBA members, and other prominent personalities from Plateau State and one of whom was the former gubernatorial aspirant Mr Kefas Rohshak who pledge to build a “Skills Acquisition and Craft Centre” for the school and the centre to be name after the Emir Of Keffi.

As a renowned advocate for youth empowerment and education, the Emir’s patronage is expected to inspire and motivate POBA members to strive for excellence.
“We are honored to have His Royal Highness as our Grand Patron,” said Mr Kenzy Ngupar, the National President of POBA. “His wisdom, guidance, and support will undoubtedly take our association to greater heights.”
In his acceptance speech, the Emir expressed his gratitude to POBA for the honor and pledged to support the association’s initiatives and activities.
“I am committed to empowering our youth and promoting education, which is the bedrock of our society,” the Emir said. “I look forward to working with POBA to achieve our shared goals.”
