As Muslims all over the world mark this year’s 2024 Eid el-Kabir the Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi (Barayan Daddare) has tasked faithful in the state on the need to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice for one another and for humanity as the occasion symbolises.

The Chairman in a statement issued by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Gana Lawal, while congratulating the Muslims on the occasion of 2024 Eid’el Kabir celebration, to emulate the exemplary life the Prophet submitted to Allah by making the sacrifice of Ishmail

abir as a test in commemoration of the total submission by the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to the call for sacrifice.

“This indeed, symbolises a call to all Muslims brotherhood, sacrifice and adherence to Allah’s commands” he said.

He pointed out that the occasions such as this calls for all Muslims to reflect on their relationship with God, as well as fellow human beings, as a guide for righteous living, love and peaceful coexistence in the society.

Dan’azimi, further urged the faithful to continue to preach peace, show love, understanding, tolerance and good neighbourliness.

The Executive Chairman, equally assured parents and guardians that the present administration of the Governor of Nadarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, is more than committed to lifting the standard of education in the state

He used the medium to wish all those from Nasarawa State and those from other parts of Nigerians currently in the Mecca performing the 2024 Hajj safe journey back home and pray their Hajj will be accepted to Allah as Ibadah.

He also wish all parents, guardians, teachers and primary school Pupils a very memorable Eid el- kabir and Allah’s blessing at all times, urging them to exercise restraint as they observe the season, stressing that only the living celebrate.
