The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kaduna, Zonal Command has decorated newly promoted officers in the Command with a call for dedication and more hard work to service.
Comptroller uncharge of the Zonal Command, Tijjani Abe, while decorating the officers urge them to prioritize harmonious working relationships with stakeholders, emphasizing that the command remains committed to achieving its revenue targets and other operational goals.
He also advised the newly promoted officers not to see themselves as superior to their colleagues who are yet to be promoted but be a source of encouragement and inspiration, while calling on the others to remain diligent and strive for excellence.
Comptroller Abe appreciated the families of the officers promoted for their support and congratulated those promoted, stressing that their elevation comes with greater responsibilities.
He said: “To whom much is given, much is expected. You have earned this promotion, and it is time to raise the bar.”
Representing Assistant Comptroller General Adekunle Oloyede, the Zonal Coordinator for Zone B Kaduna, Comptroller Ahmadu Shuibu praised the dedication of the officers and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to professionalis
Krestnews.com reports that, the officers decorated with their new ranks were Suleman Isa, who is the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Operations Unit Zone B, who is promoted to Chief Superintendent of Customs.
Akso promoted is Dikko Magaji, Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna Zonal Office, promoted to the Rank of Superintendent of Customs
Ridwan Yusuf, Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna Area Command, elevated to Chief Superintendent of Customs.
The Public Relations Officer for Zone B, .Suleiman Isa, while expressing gratitude to the Comptrollers on behalf of the others, for their confidence reposed on them by their promotion will spurs them to put in their best to the service, knowing that hard work and dedication to duties pays.
Suleiman who spoke unbehalf of the newly promoted officers also appreciated Comptroller Tijjani Abe for his mentorship and guidance, pledging not to take the promotion for granted. (www.krestnews.com).
