In a renewed drive to boost trade facilitation and revenue generation, the Customs Area Controller of Kaduna Area Command, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, has reaffirmed the Nigeria Customs Service’s commitment to deepening collaboration with key stakeholders at the Kaduna Inland Dry Port (KIDP) and Skyblue Investment Bonded Terminal.
During a familiarisation visit to both terminals, Hassan emphasized that teamwork, professionalism, and stakeholder partnership are central to achieving the vision of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR.

Accompanied by senior officers, the comptroller engaged terminal operators on strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance.
Port Manager Alhaji Salami Razaq commended the Customs leadership for the visit and called for the revival of rail cargo operations to the terminal. He also urged for enhanced training of licensed agents on the B’Odogwu platform to ease documentation processes.
At the Skyblue Terminal, Managing Director Alhaji Kabir Tukur Birchi raised concerns over low cargo volume and high bond values, which affect competitiveness in the region.
