In a heartwarming display of interfaith in the church, a group of Shiite Muslims attended the Christmas service at the with the hope that their visit to church will promote the spirit of love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence between peoples of different faiths in the area and the state in general.
Malam Yahaya Muhammad Yahaya who spoke on behalf of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria known as Shiites Agyaragu zone charged other Muslims in the state to see Christians as their brothers and should not be discriminated upon for integration, peace and national development.
Also speaking, the second Reverend of the Church, Reverend Bitrus Amos appreciated the visit of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria “Shiites” for the visit, saying it will go along way to promote tolerance and love between believers of the two faith in the State and the country.
He remainded the delegation their visit to the church to celebrate Christmas with them is the testament of true love and expression of a desire for togetherness, brotherhood and as enshrined in the scripture.
