Krestnews reports that crisis erupted in Mangu the Local Government headquarters of Plateau State, north central Nigeria
This according to report came after suspected armed men set ablaze a Christian worship Centre belonging to the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) today Tuesday.
Residents of Mangu, a Christian-dominated area is quoted saying that more church buildings are being attacked by the terrorists.
One of the resident who pleaded anonymity said, “As we speak the near the new market (Sabon Kasuwa) is on fire and they are advancing towards other churches in town.”
Meanwhile, Governor Caleb Muftwang has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the area while security agents are yet to have deployed to the area according to the report.
