Following the supreme Court Judgement affirming the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule people in Lafia mainly members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came out in their numbers on the street of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital to protest against the decision of the Supreme Court
The major Lafia -Jos highway which run through the heart of the town was completely blocked as the protesters set fire to tyres along the road.
Motorists plying the major highway to the East or North had to navigate through streets and other alternative routes to be able to continue their journey and out of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
