Krestnews reports that shocking incident has occurred in Washington DC where an active member of the United States military set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, in protest against Israel’s actions in Gaza.
According to the report,the man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was swiftly taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
“Emergency responders, alerted to the scene just before 1 pm, found that officers from the US Secret Service had already extinguished the flames.
Before the self-immolation, the report added, the protester live-streamed the act on Twitch, dressed in military fatigues, proclaiming his refusal to be complicit in genocide, and shouting “Free Palestine!”
The disturbing footage has been removed from the platform. The man’s images circulated online, capturing the shocking moment.
The Israeli embassy confirmed that none of its staff members were harmed, and all personnel are safe.
The report says local police are however currently investigating the incident.
