The ongoing PDP National Convention in Ibadan has taken a dramatic turn as the party leadership announced the expulsion of several high-profile chieftains in what insiders describe as the boldest cleanup in PDP history.
The sweeping decision, unveiled on Saturday during an emergency disciplinary review, targets top figures accused of serial anti-party activities and violations of party ethics.

According to party officials, the expulsions followed extensive investigations into conduct “gravely detrimental to the PDP’s unity, cohesion, and future electoral success.”
