Worried about the growing cases of security breach in parts of Lafia, Local Government Area of Nasarawa State,the executive chairman, honourable Aminu Muazu Maifata has announced restriction of movement of people between the hours of 6:00pm to 6:00am until further notice.
According to the statement issued and signed by the honourable chairman is aimed at forestalling any further breakdown of law and order.
The statement directs all security agencies to act promptly to ensure total compliance, while calling on resident particular those within the capital city to take note of the directive to avoid embarrassment.
The statement further call on traditional rulers and community leaders as well as residents to monitor careful the movement of alien into their respective communities and where in doubt or suspicion, contact the security agencies with necessary information to enable them act.
It further direct private business owners, petty traders and commercial motorcycle operators to adhere to the directive for the all peace, security of the local government and the state as a whole.
