Late Rev. Fr. Tobias Chukwujeku Okonkwo
The Catholic Diocese of Nnewi has announced the killing of Reverend Father Tobias Chukwujeku Okonkwo
Rev. Fr Tobias Chukwujeku, according to a statement issued by the Church, said he was shot and killed by unknown assilants. Ihiala Owerri Expressway around 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
The statement reads: “Till yesterday, Father Tobias, a pharmacist and a native of Ekwulumili in Nnewi South LGA, was the manager of the respective school of Nursing and Midwifery and Medical Laboratory at Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala.”
While praying that the soul of Rev. Father rejoices eternally forever. The Church is therefore solicitong for prayers and Mass by brethren.
It, however, says burial will be announced later.
