Vice Chancellor Borno State University (BOSU) Professor, Babagana Gutti yesterday, led management and staff of the institution to condole with parents of students who lost their lives when a Dangote trailer lost control and drove into them.
The crash of the BOSU bus with the reckless trailer had occurred when it was ferrying students from the main campus in Njimtilo to their respective residences on Wednesday at Moramti, in the outskirts of Maiduguri Metropolis.
At the 777 estate residence of the part two female student, Fanne Usman and the Gamboru Layout Bayan Makaranta residence of the final year student, Babagana Mohammed, Prof Gutti and his retinue of staff, offered their heartfelt condolences to parents of the late students.
Professor Gutti said, the whole BOSU community share in their respective griefs and admonished them to continue to pray for the souls of the deceased to rest in Janna Firdaus, “as we all came from Allah and to him we shall all return some day.”
Prayers for the repose of their souls were offered by the University’s Director of Kanuri Ajami and Qur’anic studies, Dr. Mustapha Ali.
