Krestnews reports that a new General Hospital has been established in the Bolori ward of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital in North east Nigeria.
This state-of-the-art facility, named the Brigadier General Abba Kyari General Hospital, stands as a testament to the ongoing commitment by the state government to improving healthcare services in Borno State.
This modest achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of Governor Babagana Zulum who directed that the former COVID 19 centre be converted to a general hospital.
His steadfast commitment to rebuilding and enhancing the healthcare sector in the state has been instrumental in making this vision a reality considering the teeming population of Bolori which is one of the slummy areas of the capital.
A release signed by the information officer of the Borno health management board Comfort Bitrus stated that since his appointment, Professor Kullima Ali has worked tirelessly to elevate the standard of healthcare services across the state.

“His leadership and relentless efforts have been pivotal in the construction and completion of this new hospital.”
The Brigadier General Abba Kyari General Hospital is equipped with modern medical facilities and staffed with highly skilled professionals ready to provide top-notch healthcare services to the people of Borno State.
This hospital, the release noted, is a significant milestone in the journey towards a healthier and more prosperous community even as health care is brought closer to the people.
The release expressed gratitude to the entire health partners in the state for their continuous support and cooperation to the Board and the Ministry, adding “together, we will continue to build a brighter and healthier future for Borno State.”
