The Bauchi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko, has been relieved of her duties as a member of the State Executive Council.

The decision was approved by Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad and made public through a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, in the early hours of Monday.

According to the statement, the removal of the commissioner is part of “minor cabinet changes” within the administration. While no specific reasons were given, the governor expressed gratitude for her service to the state and wished her success in future endeavors.

Hajiya Zainab’s removal marks another shift in the ongoing cabinet adjustments within the Bauchi State government.
