In a renewed effort to strengthen the bond between graduates and their alma mater, the leadership of the Nasarawa State University Alumni Association (NSUAA) has embarked on a nationwide consultation to rally the support of its members toward the development of the institution.

This is contained in a statement issued to the media by the Alumni Public Relations Officer, God’spower Ede.

He said in the statement that the National President of the Association, Barr. Nuhu John Egya, made this known during a solidarity visit to one of the University’s distinguished alumni and current Protocol Liaison Officer to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ambassador Yakubu Musa, in Abuja on Saturday.

According to the statement, Barr. Egya explained that the new Alumni leadership is committed to attracting meaningful development projects to Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK). He emphasized that completing the ongoing Alumni Secretariat project remains a top priority, as it will provide a befitting administrative office and a rallying point for all members.

He commended Ambassador Yakubu Musa for being a worthy ambassador of the University, urging him to continue to use his office to support initiatives that would advance the institution and empower graduates of NSUK.

The statement further noted that the Alumni leadership presented an Award of Excellence to Ambassador Musa for his outstanding representation and loyalty, which earned him recognition in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In his response, Ambassador Musa expressed gratitude to the Association for the honour and pledged to support the completion of the Secretariat project. He described Nasarawa State University as one of Nigeria’s most promising institutions and assured the Alumni body of his readiness to collaborate for greater impact.

On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Comrade Abah John Michael, lauded Ambassador Musa for his accessibility and commitment, while pledging the Alumni’s continued support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda beyond 2027. Follow www.krestnews.com for more reports.
